Doctor Dubil

I was born in Wisconsin, but grew up in Salt Lake City and went to Skyline High. I received my undergrad at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA with a major in biology and a minor in German. I then took a year off to study wildlife management in Kenya. I graduated from Colorado State (veterinary school) in 1997.

I interned at a large private practice in Oradell, NJ. It was a 27 doctor practice with 6 interns, 3 boarded surgeons, 2 internists and an opthalmologist. I worked emergency and day clinics. During my internship I met my husband, we married shortly after my internship ended. I moved around working part time doing both clinics and emergency in New Jersey, Connecticut and California.

I have 2 kids, a 5 year old daughter, Elsa, and a 4 year old son, Ethan. My family moved from San Jose, CA this summer to be close to my folks. I love being back in Salt Lake, it is home, and I feel very comfortable here.

My hobbies include: Travel - I have studied in Africa several times and spent a few summers working in a game park in South Africa (Kruger National Park) with the vets there. I hope to travel the whole world in my lifetime. The outdoors - I used to backpack and hike frequently and plan to spend a good deal of time in the Uintahs. I love to cook, it is my stress relief, I also love to read.
