Hi! My name is Kathy McNulty and I teach the Willow Creek Therapy class. I have been involved in equine and canine training for over 30 years. There are many ways to develop skills, and over the years, training my own dogs, attending yearly seminars on new positive training methods, and training with Donna for 15 years have helped me to be creative in helping owners navigate the many training techniques. I am an advocate of positive training methods and developing a special relationship with your dog.
I have shown my dogs and client’s dogs in competitive obedience and rally. I have worked with clients helping them with their dog’s skills and behavior issues with great success.
I have been involved in Animal Therapy work for 18 years and am currently a Master Evaluator for Intermountain Therapy Animals where I help determine if it’s in the best interest of the dogs to enter the therapy world. My Akita, Kiyoshi, has been featured in Dogs With Jobs and Animal Planet for his work in the R.E.A.D. program and Surgery Waiting Room work. I currently have a miniature horse with his Therapy Title as well.
I am passionate about therapy work and developing good predictable skills and manners which is necessary to pass the Therapy Evaluation. I bring enthusiasm and the desire to help your dog be the best they can be!
