Hi! My name is Martine Savageau . I live in Wanship Utah with my dogs, cats, sheep and chickens! I have always loved animals. Growing up I rode and worked with horses. At 16 I got my first dog, a Doberman, and have been working with dogs in one way or another ever since.
I am currently involved in many aspects of the dog world. Since 1990, I have been a leader and puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind Inc.. I am also a high school teacher that developed a program for the Salt Lake City School District called Companion Animal Science. This program allows my students to raise a guide dog puppy.
I have worked as a dog trainer since 1992, conducting dog training classes and private lessons.
I love working with behavioral issues! I compete with my own dogs in obedience, conformation, tracking and draft work and play around with herding. I proudly own a Bernese Mountain dog, Nova Scotia Duck Toller and my current guide dog puppy. I am proud to be part of the team of trainers at Willow Creek Pet Center, and I look forward to giving you and your dog the best relationship possible with my training techniques!
